Company Policy: Department managers are under no obligation to approve unpaid time off for a previously approved vacation when the employee has exhausted their vacation time. If possible, the department manager will allow your pre-approved time off; however, department needs will supersede time off and it is very possible the time off requested could be denied. Please keep this in mind when scheduling vacation during this upcoming year. Any employee who has no time left and uses unpaid time either before or after a company designated Holiday will not receive Holiday pay. The maximum length of vacation granted at one given time is 2 weeks (including Holidays).
