Services

Establish gas service with Austell Natural Gas. Simply fill out the below form or call 770-948-1841, option 4. Provide the service address to the customer service representative. A minimum deposit of $100 is required but can be waived by providing a letter of credit from a current or previous gas or electric provider for the most recent 12 months indicating no late payments and no disconnections of service. Letters of Credit excluding 12 month payment and disconnect history will not be accepted.

Sign Up for New Service

This option allows customers to change the mailing address where they currently receive their gas bill. This is not a Transfer of Service. In order to have your billing address changed, click on the link “Change Mailing Address”, provide the information required and submit the form.

Change My Mailing Address

This option allows customers to transfer service from one address to another address on the Austell Gas System. In order to have service transferred, click on the link “Transfer Service”, provide the information required and submit the form.

Transfer Service

This option allows customers who will no longer use Austell Gas as their provider to discontinue service. In order to have service disconnected, click on the link “Disconnect Service”, provide the information required and submit the form.

Disconnect Service

Pay for your Austell Gas System through our online payment system. Create an account or make a one-time payment. You can also pay by mail, through Western Union Bill Pay, deposit at our main office, make a payment by telephone or through your bank. Read more about these options below.

Customers use large quantities of gas during the colder winter months for heating purposes and may find the Budget Billing payment plan to be helpful. This program is not a discount, nor does it lower the amount of the monthly bills.

Open Enrollment for this plan is from April 1st through September 30th.

The monthly payment will be a fixed amount each month and the program will provide a catch-up month for any accounts that have a balance at the end of the 12-month period. The catch-up and new budget payment calculation will be done each year on August 1st.

This option allows residential, commercial, and industrial customers to apply for a gas meter once a service application and county HVAC/Pluming inspection has been completed. Click the link “New Meter Set Request”, provide the required information and submit the form.

This option allows property management groups to establish or disconnect services at multiple locations. If the property management group has additional services the minimum $100 deposit will be waived on the additional accounts.

Start/Stop Services

This option allows residential, commercial, and industrial customers to apply for a service line to be installed at a new or existing site. Click the link “Service Line Installation”, provide the required information and submit the form.

Service Line

This option allows current and previous customers to request or provide a letter of credit for the past 13 months of service. This information can be mailed or emailed. Click the link “Letter of Credit”, provide the required information and submit the form.

This option allows customers to request a proof of service indicating that a gas account is established in their name. This information can be mailed or emailed. Click the link “Proof of Service”, provide the required information and submit the form.

This option allows customers to schedule a complementary gas light service. Click the link “Outdoor Gas Light Services”, provide the required information and submit the form.

Gas Light Services

This option allows customers to update their contact information on file. Provide the most up to date contact information by completing the steps below. This program will provide customers with information such as: nonpayment disconnection reminders, field operation meter checks, and other important information. “Click the “Customer Notification” link below, provide the required information and submit the form.
